Today is a third day in a row when Nifty September Futures have managed to open in positive territory with a gap and closed higher than previous day's close, though current low has been lower than previous day's high for all the three days. Today Nifty opened at 5040 went up to 5072.1, made a low of 4988.8,finally closing at 5034 up by 31.1 points. Bank Nifty has also followed the trend of Nifty and has closed in positive territory for all the three days.

Data from volume charts indicate significant increase in Open Interest in September Futures signifying Bulls might have become active in the market though figures of traded quantity, no.of contracts traded, no.of trades have fallen from yesterday's figures signifying lesser follow up activity from the traders.











































Analysis of data doesn't give confidence to trader rather it signifies some reluctance on the part of both bull & bear trader to participate in the market. Perhaps both the traders are waiting for some trigger of breakout. As indicated in earlier posts we are in a long bear trend and it is advisable to sell Nifty at every rise with stop loss of 5175 & 5350 level.
